Move to introduce compulsory health insurance for visit visa

Kuwait: Kuwait is currently discussing the possibility of introducing compulsory health insurance for anyone coming to the country on commercial visit visa.
According to local report, Chairman of the Union of Insurance Companies, Khaled Al-Hassan, stated that the insurance companies are preparing a product to  suit this requirement such that the visitor intends to stay for a day or a month will benefit from this insurance

The proposed insurance amount is around KD 20 if approved
