Ministers convene to review and fast-track school projects in Oman

MUSCAT : Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, convened a high-level meeting with His Excellency Dr. Said bin Ahmed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and HE Eng. Badr bin Salem Al Maamari, Secretary-General of the Tender Board, to review the progress of the integrated buildings project under the nation’s tenth five-year plan.

The session, held at Oman Hall in the Ministry’s General Diwan, was attended by undersecretaries, directors-general, and specialists from the Ministry of Education.

The discussions centered on the execution progress of the integrated buildings project under the tenth five-year plan. This ambitious initiative aims to construct 22 new school buildings, following the directives of Oman’s leadership. The meeting included a detailed review of the implementation stages, completion rates, and the challenges hindering the timely delivery of some facilities.
