Meghan Markle accuses Palace ‘perpetuated falsehoods’ about Harry and her

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will soon be sitting down with Oprah Winfrey in a tell-all interview that will be out on March 8. In a new teaser of the show, Meghan Markle talks with Oprah Winfrey about her feelings towards Buckingham Palace.

In the video, Oprah Winfrey asks Meghan how she feels about the Palace hearing her speak the truth on the show. To which Meghan says, “I don’t know how they (the Palace) could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that the Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us. And if that comes with the risk of losing things, I mean there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”

The video comes after Royal aides, who worked with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, accused Meghan of bullying them. According to The Times, the complaint claimed that Meghan drove two personal assistants out of the household and was undermining the confidence of a third staff member.

Later, a spokesperson for the Duchess told People that she was saddened by the claims. Buckingham Palace also said that they would investigate the allegations made.

Earlier, another teaser showed Prince Harry talking about how he feared ‘history repeating itself’ with the way media treated his family like they treated Princess Diana.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey explores the couple’s experience with the Royal life, their decision to quit their role as senior members, handling the public eye and their future goals.
