Market continues climb, Nifty closes above 10,550

The stock market continued to surge for the second day on Juky 2. Sensex gained 420 points to end trade at 35,843 points. At one point it had reached 36,014.92 points.
Nifty rose 121.65 points and closed at 10.551.70 points. During trading, the Nifty had reached 10,598.20 points. It was a good indication that the Nifty had closed at a key pressure level of 10,550 points. There are all possibilities that the market will continue to gain.
On July 2, automobile shares boosted the market. Mahindra & Mahindra registered 6% gain while and Hero Motors showed a 5% gain. Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero Motors, Titan, Cipla and HCL Technologies were the Nifty shares that registered the highest gain on the day.
The Nifty Auto Index climbed 2.8%. Pharma shares too put up a good show on the day.
Axis Bank, Vedantha, UPL, Hindustan Unilever and Bharati Airtel were the five Nifty Shares that registered losses on July 2
