‘Many countries are nervous, India is not among them’: S. Jayashankar says there is no concern if Trump comes to the US.

Mumbai : External Affairs Minister S. Jayashankar said that India is not worried about the results of the US presidential election. He was speaking at a private function in Mumbai. India views the results of the US presidential election differently from many other countries. I know many countries are nervous about the US today. Let’s be honest about it, Jayashankar’s response was that we are not one of them.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first 3 phone calls made by Trump after becoming President. PM Modi has actually interacted with multiple US Presidents. Barack Obama was the President when Modi first visited the US. Then it became Trump. And it was Biden. There is something natural about the Prime Minister building these relationships. It has helped the country a lot” – said Jayashankar.
