Mahesh Bhatt informs police that he never offered a role to Sushant Singh in Sadak 2

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput is one of the most shocking incidents that happened in the country recently. The young actor who was widely considered a superstar material was found dead in his house in Bandra on July 14. Even though initial investigations revealed the cause of death as suicide, close aids to Sushant urged a CBI probe to unravel the incidents that shattered his mind which finally made him end his life.

Now, as a part of the ongoing investigation conducted by Mumbai police, prominent Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt has been questioned for more than three hours. Earlier, it has been rumored that Sushant Singh Rajput had expressed an interest to work with Mahesh Bhatt in Sadak 2. And now, Mahesh Bhatt has revealed that he has never considered Sushant Singh Rajput for this role, as he could not imagine anyone other than Sanjay Dutt to play the lead character in this flick.

Bhatt also added that there were no professional or work relationships between him and Sushant Singh Rajput. The veteran director also made it clear that he had met Sushant, and at that time, they talked about YouTube channels and other literary things.

This is not the first time that Mumbai police is recording the statement of a Bollywood celebrity in association with Sushant Rajput case. Earlier, investigation officers had recorded statements of celebrities like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and film critic Rajeev Masand.

According to reports, Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will be also summoned by the police to record his statement.

In the meantime, the viscera report of Sushant Singh Rajput has ruled out any foul play in the case, as there were no traces of any poisons or effluents.
