Luxembourg and Oman eye stronger financial ties

MUSCAT : Gilles Worth, Minister of Finance of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, received a written message from Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance of Oman. Delivered by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al Harthy—Oman’s Ambassador to the Netherlands and Non-Resident Ambassador to Luxembourg—the message outlined new pathways for financial cooperation between the two nations.

The correspondence focused on strengthening frameworks for joint ventures and exploring future partnership prospects and shared investments. Both sides underscored the importance of forging deeper ties to spur mutual economic growth and bolster strategic relations.

Minister Worth welcomed the Omani overture and expressed optimism about intensifying bilateral efforts, emphasizing Luxembourg’s commitment to expanding financial and economic collaboration.
