Lord Ganesha propagated vitality of coronavirus social distancing in Mysuru

As the entire nation is busy celebrating Ganesh Chathurthi, members of Parisara Snehi did something remarkable in the streets of Mysuru. When people, intentionally or unintentionally violate social distancing as a part of celebrations, members of Parisara Snehi, wearing the attire of Lord Ganesha have distributed masks to people in the streets.

The move from the Parisara Snehi team is now receiving positive responses from all corners, and Mysureans are lauding the team for such an effort aimed to create awareness in the minds of people at this crucial time.

According to reports, more than 15 members of the Parisara Snehi team have taken part in this initiative. The traffic officials at Lakshmi Puram have also joined hands with the team to spread awareness among people regarding the vitality of maintaining social distancing.

“The coronavirus cases are increasing in the city every day. The members of the organization have tried to send out a message to the people to stay safe and celebrate the festival without violating the rules laid down by the district administration. We distributed free masks to the residents, street vendors, and idol makers,” D Lohit, President of Parisara Snehi told the Bangalore Mirror.

Ganesh Chathurthi is being celebrated under strict coronavirus guidelines in Mysuru.
