Line Investments launches UAE-wide Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Dubai : Line Investments and Property, a subsidiary of Lulu Group International, officially inaugurated its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign on October 11, 2024, at Silicon Central Mall. This initiative marks a significant step in the fight against breast cancer, in collaboration with the Burjeel Cancer Institute and Pink Caravan.

A key highlight of the event was the highly anticipated Pink Ride—a pan-UAE initiative designed to raise awareness about breast cancer and promote early detection. Organized by Line Investments and Property, the Pink Ride symbolizes hope and unity, bringing together participants from all walks of life to spread vital information throughout the Emirates.

During the inaugural ceremony, key representatives from Line Investments, Burjeel Cancer Institute, and Pink Caravan expressed their shared commitment to raising awareness, educating the public, and providing medical support. The campaign, held throughout October—recognized globally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month—features events, screenings, and educational sessions across various UAE malls under the management of Line Investments and Property.

Navaneeth Sudhakaran, General Manager of Line Investments Dubai & NE, said at the launch: “We are honored to partner with Burjeel Cancer Institute and Pink Caravan in this noble cause. Our malls serve as central community hubs, and we believe it is crucial to use this platform to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. Through these efforts, we hope to make a real impact in the fight against cancer.”

The campaign will offer free breast cancer screenings, informative talks by health professionals, and interactive workshops throughout October at malls managed by Line Investments and Property.

The Pink Ride, a signature initiative of the campaign, connects all seven emirates, promoting breast cancer awareness. It starts at Silicon Central Mall in Dubai and extends to participating malls, including Lulu Mall Fujairah, RAK Mall, Mall of UAQ, Sharjah Central, Barari Outlet Mall, and Mushrif Mall.

Each location will host awareness activities, making health resources accessible to the community. Lulu Mall Fujairah, Mall of UAQ, and Mushrif Mall will provide screening services until October 31, encouraging regular checkups and ensuring extended access to early detection facilities.
