Kuwait City: Kuwaiti authorities deported 2,700 expatriates last month for various legal violations, according to the Ministry of Interior. The crackdown targets individuals found to be in breach of residency and labor laws, including those working illegally, employed by unauthorized parties, or residing in the country without valid documentation.
Security inspections have been intensified across all governorates to identify and take action against such offenders. The ministry revealed that between May 11 and 18 alone, 1,084 individuals were deported for violating residency regulations.
Officials reiterated that strict legal measures will continue against those found in violation of Kuwait’s labor and residency laws. The Ministry of Interior has issued a stern warning that these efforts will be ongoing to preserve public order and ensure compliance with national regulations.
