Kuwait Banks to charge one Dinar fee for transfers from next month

 

Kuwait: The local banks in Kuwait will charge one Dinar as transfer fee for all online transfers, including salary transfer, starting from June 2022. According to report, some of the local banks had already informed the customers that they will charge a fee of KD 1 for transfers to corporate accounts and 500 fils for transfers to personal accounts from June 1, 2022. This includes all transfers via the Internet and mobile.

The fee will be 6 dinar for any international transfer, reports added. Meanwhile some banks informed that they will not charge for payments through online links, which are very popular among online businesses and individuals.
