Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority of Oman is reminding shoppers of their rights when it comes to exchanges, returns, and refunds. Consumers have up to 15 days from the date of purchase to exchange or return items, ensuring peace of mind for buyers in the Sultanate.
If the item is defective, doesn’t meet standard specifications, or fails to serve the intended purpose, customers are entitled to a replacement or full refund – provided they present proof of purchase. However, perishable goods are excluded from this policy and cannot be returned or exchanged.
