King’s College School Wimbledon to Open First Regional Campus on Abu Dhabi’s Fahid Island

Dubai: Abu Dhabi’s newest luxury destination, Fahid Island, will soon be home to a super-premium British school, further elevating the emirate’s global education landscape.

Aldar Education, the education arm of master developer Aldar, has partnered with the prestigious King’s College School Wimbledon to establish the renowned UK institution’s first regional campus in the Middle East.

Opening in 2028

The K-12 campus is scheduled to open in September 2028, subject to regulatory approvals. Once operational, the school will provide an exceptional academic environment and a clear pathway to top-ranked universities worldwide, according to the developer.

This strategic move is expected to enhance Abu Dhabi’s world-class education offerings, catering to families seeking elite international schooling options.

Expanding British Education Presence

The announcement comes shortly after Taaleem confirmed a new Harrow School campus in Abu Dhabi, signaling a strong push to attract some of the UK’s most prestigious educational brands to the UAE capital.

With the addition of King’s College School Wimbledon, Fahid Island is positioned not just as a residential and leisure hub, but also as a center for educational excellence.
