Philip fatally stabbed her multiple times, when she was returning home after night duty at the COVID ward in Boward Hospital. He also drove his car over her at the parking lot of the hospital.

As per the reports of the police, the incident is believed to be part of a domestic dispute between the couple. Philip has sustained some self-inflicted injuries after the incident.
