Kerala Minister challenges Opposition in KIIFB in FB post

Kerala’s Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac has come out strongly against the BJP and the Congress in a Facebook post.

KIIFB :: KERALA INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT FUND
He stated that RSS leader Ram Madhavan has been given the green light to file a case against KIIFB. The Jagaran Manch leader has filed a case in the High Court following a meeting at Ramanilayam in Thrissur. Mathew Kuzhalnadan has taken the axe on behalf of the RSS and as part of its conspiracy to overthrow KIIFB and destroy Kerala’s development. The withdrawal of the case and the subsequent re-filing of the case by the CAG were part of a planned conspiracy. This conspiracy cannot be allowed to destroy Kerala.

He wrote, “Let me humbly remind Matthew Kuzhalnadan that this is not a case that can be compared to a stabbing case or a dispute, but one that has to do with Kerala’s development. What has been raised is a political issue. The dispute is over the powers of the States under the Constitution. What is your political position on this issue as a Congress leader? What is the point of showing hypersensitivity instead of the courage to say it openly?”

“I also agree that there is a euphemism for declarations that the profession should not be confused with politics and politics with the profession. Would you accept an offer to cancel Rahul Gandhi’s election? In the case between Rahul Gandhi and the RSS in connection with the assassination of Gandhi, would you advocate on the grounds that the profession would not be confused with politics if anyone approached to argue the side of the RSS?

“I heard Kuzhalnadan say that there is a big scandal in KIIFB and that more information is not being released due to professional ethics. We do not want that free. Why is the KPCC secretary hiding the details of the corruption he received? Feel free to leave. I challenge him. Stop being heroic and reveal the documents. Let the people know about the incidents of corruption. Why let us go scot free?

“Needless to say, Kuzhalnadan is a bad politician. He will take the advocacy of the RSS without looking at politics and it will not come out if he gets the details of the corruption that the LDF have done. Let the party decide whether it needs such a person as KPCC secretary.

Mr. Thomas Isaac that the opposition leader has been saying time and again that KIIFB is a total scam. But when he was constantly challenged to clarify how much money was embezzled in any project there was no answer. That’s when a KPCC secretary jumped on the bandwagon with the revelation that he had information of corruption in his possession. But it will not be revealed and the proof will not be even handed over to the Leader of the Opposition.

“The misfortune of the Congressmen is that they are not ashamed to say so in public. We do not want anyone’s free. A public figure who argues that corruption will not be exposed under the guise of professional ethics is also a challenge to the people and his own party ranks. So I challenge Matthew Kuzhalnadan to reveal the corruption in Kifby. Corruption should not be kept a secret. Let the people know,” the Finance Minister said.

The Leader of the Opposition was embarrassed to see the smoke of corruption in connection with the Transgrid. The Delhi Schedule of Rate was implemented by PWD in our State when Ramesh Chennitha was the Minister. Then comes the allegation that the Electricity Board is using the DSR rate. At that time, it was rumoured that there was no other option but to re-tender when ten per cent tender excise came.

The plaintiff stated that he had only an academic interest. He swears he has nothing against KIIFB. That low point is whether KIIFB is a statutory body or a corporate body. That is made clear in the law itself. KIIF Act 4.2 clearly states that the board shall be a body corporate. Yet the party, which is also a chartered accountant, is sceptical. The case was filed in the Kerala High Court by the Reserve Bank, the CAG and the London Stock Exchange to settle a mere academic dispute.

KIIFB was formed on the basis of a law made by the Legislature, which defines the body as a corporate body. Is the argument that the legislature does not have the power to do so? It is through the statute that the company, the corporation, the authority, the trust and the board are formed. What do you call the National Highway Authority of India and Coal India? These are all corporate bodies by law. This audacity is enviable to reach the public sphere with absurdities that challenge even the common sense of man.

The details of the joint agenda of the BJP-Congress alliance to overthrow KIIFB and sabotage Kerala’s development are becoming clearer day by day. The LDF will take on the political task of exposing this to the people of the State, the Finance Minister wrote in his post of Facebook.
