Kerala CM inaugurates 34 modern school building complexes

Our Correspondent

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated 34 modern school buildings from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod on September 9. This was part of the government’s 100-day action plan. This is the first time in history that so many school buildings have been completed together and dedicated to the people and the State. These were financed through KIIFB Fund as part of the LDF Government’s Public Education Protection Campaign.

Under the scheme, 22 schools had already been completed and handed over to the State. Another 14 will be completed soon, while another 250 were also being built.

The Chief Minister said that the LDF government is implementing projects that have paved the way for great progress in the field of public education.

What does those who have been needling the government with regard to KIFFB have to say now, the Chief Minister asked. The State and the people were realising the benefits of the multi-crore development projects that have changed the face of the country.

Some are trying to discredit the good things that are happening in the country. Some media outlets ey are trying to humiliate even two and a half lakh families who were now living in their own homes under the Life Mission Plan. This is the government that will implement a plan once it is announced. Attempts to disrupt it and spread lies and misrepresentation are futile, the Chief Minister said.

Education Minister Prof. C Ravindranath presided over the function.
