Katrina Kaif’s next is a superhero film, will be shot in four countries

Katrina Kaif, the dazzling Bollywood star, is all set to act in a superhero movie that will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. According to reports, the shooting of this movie will begin after Katrina completes the filming of ‘Phone Bhoot’ and ‘Tiger 3’.

Ali Abbas Zafar is currently stationed in Dubai, and he is busy finalising the locations for this mega-budget movie. In a recent interaction with Mid Day, Zafar revealed that Dubai and Abu Dhabi will the main locations of the movie. The filmmaker also has plans to shoot some sequences in Poland and Georgia.

Even though the film will be shot in exotic foreign locales, the filmmaker assured that Bollywood’s first superwoman movie will have its roots in India. The director revealed that Katrina should undergo a physical transformation to portray the role of the superhero in this upcoming movie.

Besides directing the film, Zafar is co-producing this movie along with Ronnie Screwala.

On the other hand, Katrina’s upcoming movie is Sooryavanshi, directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, and it stars Akshay Kumar in the title role. The supporting star cast includes, Ajay Devgan, Ranveer Singh, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer, Vivan Bhatena and Javed Jaffrey.

The film was originally scheduled to have its release on March 24, but due to the coronavirus outbreak, the makers of the film decided to postpone the theatre release. An official confirmation regarding the film’s release date will be made soon.
