United States President Donald Trump has ignited another controversy as he staged a dramatic return to the White House from the Walter Reed Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for coronavirus infection. In the White House, Donald Trump was seen without a mask, and it literally shocked the nation’s healthcare sector that has been facing the chaos of the pandemic outbreak for the last nine months.
Donald Trump also announced that there is no need to fear the pandemic that has already killed more than 2,10,000 Americans. The president also outlandishly claimed that he is immune to coronavirus.
This is not the first time that Donald Trump is downplaying the coronavirus outbreak that is wreaking havoc in all nooks of the earth. In the initial days of the outbreak, Donald Trump called the pandemic, ‘a Chinese virus’, and assured that America will be safe from the virus attack.
Earlier this year, Trump also mocked Joe Biden for wearing a mask. Trump had once claimed that wearing a mask will make him look ridiculous and weak, and the president made fun of people who practiced strict social distancing measures.
Apart from Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump, and close aid Hope Hicks were also tested positive for coronavirus. Shockingly, in several recent images, Hope Hicks was also spotted without wearing a mask, and he had recently traveled with Trump to Cleveland.
In the meantime, a section of social media users has started alleging that Donald Trump might have faked coronavirus infection to get an upper hand over Joe Biden, ahead of the United States presidential election.
