The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in India has spiked to 17,296 in the last 24 hours pushing India’s tally to 4,90,401. This is the highest ever single-day spike reported in the country.
The death toll has risen to 15,301 with 407 new fatalities. A total of 2,85,636 people were reported to be cured. The cure rate is 58.24%.
The total number of COVID-19 samples tested up to June 25 is 77,76,228 whil, the number of samples tested in the past 24 hours is 2,15,446, said the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
