Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has recently revealed that he used to drink cow urine daily for ayurvedic reasons. Akshay made these remarks in an Instagram live where he appeared with Huma Qureshi and British adventurer Bear Grylls.
During the talking session, Huma asked Akshay how he convinced himself to drink elephant poop tea while participating in the show with Grylls. Akshay, in his usual style, revealed that he used to drink cow urine every day, and for him, drinking elephant poop tea was not at all a difficult task.
“I was not worried. I was actually too excited to be worried. I used to have cow urine because of ayurvedic reasons every day, so that was okay,” said Akshay.
Akshay’s remarks on cow urine soon went viral on online spaces, and netizens started searching in Google to know more about the medicinal properties of this beneficial drink, as propagated by the Bollywood star.
Even though there is no scientific evidence to back the claims made by Akshay, several people in India have made it a habit to drink cow urine, and they believe that it can cure several diseases, including cancer and coronavirus.
A few months back, West Bengal BJP President and Lok Sabha MP, Dilip Ghosh had outlandishly claimed that cow urine is capable of curing coronavirus.
|”If I talk about cows, people fall sick. I tell them a donkey will not understand the worth of a cow. This is India, the land of Lord Krishna, and here cows are God, we worship. We will have cow urine to stay healthy. Take ayurvedic medicine and don’t worry,” Mr. Ghosh had said.
