India logs 19,078 coronavirus cases, tally reaches 1,03,05,788

India recorded 19,078 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the update by the Union health ministry on Saturday morning. The total positive cases in the country have shot up to 1,03,05,788.

As many as 224 coronavirus patients succumbed to the infection in a day, taking the toll in India to 1,49,218.

Meanwhile, of the total positive cases, there are 2,50,183 active Covid cases and 99,06,387 recovered cases in the country, the health ministry said.
