Hot and Dusty Weekend Ahead in Kuwait, Warns Meteorology Department

Kuwait City: The Meteorology Department has warned that Kuwait will experience hot and dusty weather throughout the upcoming weekend. The condition is attributed to the influence of the Indian monsoon low-pressure system, which is causing northwesterly winds blowing at speeds between 15 and 65 km/h.

Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 43°C and 45°C, while minimum temperatures may vary from 28°C to 31°C. Due to the dust storms, visibility may be reduced, potentially affecting travel and maritime operations.

Sea waves are forecast to rise up to 6 feet, prompting additional caution for marine activities.

On Friday, northwesterly winds may blow at speeds between 20 and 60 km/h, maintaining hot and dusty weather conditions. Nighttime temperatures are likely to stay between 29°C and 31°C.

Authorities stated that dust levels are expected to gradually subside after the weekend.
