His Majesty Sultan Haitham pardons 577 prisoners including expats ahead of Eid Al Fitr

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander has issued a special Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted in various cases on Saturday.

In a statement issued, the Royal Oman Police said His Majesty has pardoned a total of 577 prisoners including expats.

His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with the blessed occasion of Eid Al Fitr 1446 AH and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
