High salaries and job security; Huge opportunity in this sector in the UAE: More than 600 vacancies this year

Dubai : It is estimated that there will be many job opportunities in the UAE’s aviation sector in the coming years. Reports say that there may be more than 600 job vacancies in the sector this year. At the same time, there will be more job opportunities every year. There will be a great demand especially in the fields of pilots, air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance specialists, airport management employees, airline engineers, ground staff, customer service, logistics,  cargo handling. In the UAE  Recently,  Antony Markey, CEO of Dalco People, believes that the demand for pilots and technicians is high.
As demand increases, there will naturally be more opportunities for pilots and other technicians who are currently serving. With this, their salaries are expected to increase by eight percent. With the increase in demand, many airlines are conducting international recruitment drives for pilots. UAE-based airlines are also offering excellent job opportunities for those from foreign countries.
Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport is set to become fully operational by 2032. The airport will start operating as the largest airport in the world. When the airport is fully operational, there will be many job opportunities in various sectors including customer service, cargo and technical sectors.
There is no doubt that Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport will become a game changer for the UAE. It is expected that 260 million passengers will pass through Al Maktoum Airport annually. In short, Al Maktoum Airport will also open the door to many direct and indirect job opportunities. As the aviation sector soars to greater heights, new technologies will be needed as well as human resources. The UAE’s aviation sector has recorded record growth in recent years. The airline had announced that 92.3 million people flew on Emirates Airlines in 2024. In 2025, they expect 96 million passengers. We can only expect more than this number. The same is true for other airlines. Despite the fluctuations in passenger numbers, 2024 was a profitable year for airlines, according to figures.
Since the opening of Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, 29 new international routes have been launched. Passenger numbers have grown by 28 percent. In 2023, 22.9 million passengers passed through Abu Dhabi Airport, but this number has increased to 29.4 million in 2024.  The revival of the UAE’s aviation sector will not only benefit the job market, but also the economy. The aviation sector in the UAE is also opening up many job opportunities for the new generation who want high salaries and job security.
