KOZHIKODE: A post-wedding photoshoot in the Kuttiyadi river near Janakikadu ended in tragedy as the groom drowned after slipping off a rock while posing for the post wedding photoshoot. The deceased has been identified as Rejil of Kadiyangad near Perambra.

According to the Peruvannamuzhi police, the Kuttiyadi river in the area has been a death trap for many tourists in the past. Rejil, was trapped in one of those pits and succumbed. . Further investigation would be carried out in the case, police said.
