Government Communication Centre discusses how to empower Oman’s youth for national development

Muscat : The session, led by Ibrahim bin Salem Al Salmi, Director General of the Government Communication Centre, emphasized the importance of positive interaction between youth and state institutions.

The discussion delved into the evolving impact of social media platforms on society, offering a balanced perspective on their positive and negative effects, and stressing the need for a wise approach to harness their benefits.
The session reaffirmed the crucial role of Omani youth in driving national development, especially within the media sector. Participants were encouraged to actively contribute to various fields of development, with an emphasis on aligning their efforts with Oman Vision 2040.
