Goa reports first COVID-19 death

The first death from COVID-19 has been reported in Goa. An 85-year-old woman from Morlem who had tested positive died at a hospital. Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane asked the people to remain calm and assured them that rightful measures will be taken to keep the State safe.
The number of coronavirus cases in Goa spiked to 818 on Sunday. Most of the new cases were reported from Mangor Hill hotspot in Vasco. Meanwhile, the number of infected patients has crossed 4.25 lakh in the country in the midst of ever increasing cases.
