Get ready for the fifth and final season of Money Heist

Netflix has renewed the popular Spanish heist drama series Money Heist for a fifth season. And unfortunately, it will also be the series’final season. The streaming giant revealed the news on its official social media handles.

The uber-popular show will be a 10-episode season. Talking about the final season Alex Pina said, “We have spent almost a year thinking about how to destroy the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes? How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters? The result is the fifth season of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”

Money heist lead actor Alvaro Morte aka The Professor, also took to social media to make the announcement.

This Spanish show has garnered a huge fan base throughout the last four seasons and this last one is going to be special for all the fans. The series was praised for its diversion from the usual heist plots, addictive storytelling and comedic elements.
