Gal Gadot lists her ‘personal wonder women’ of 2020. Shaheen Bagh Didi in the list

Hollywood actor Gal Gadot had a unique way of bidding adieu to 2020. The Wonder Woman actor took the opportunity and shared a post listing her ‘personal wonder women’. 82-year-old activist Bilkis Bano, popularly known as the Shaheen Bagh Dadi, also featured on the list.

Gal Gadot shared a number of pictures with different women, describing them as her ‘personal wonder women’. Apart from Shaheen Bagh dadi, the post features New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden, Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins, US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and head of vaccine research at Pfizer Kathrin Jansen among others.

She captioned the post, “Saying farewell to 2020, with all my love to #MyPersonalWonderWomen. Some are those closest to me- my family, my friends – some are inspiring women I’ve loved discovering, and some are exceptional women I hope to meet in the future. Together, we can do wonders! Share your own wonder women with me (sic).”

Wonder Woman 1984 released in India on the occasion of Christmas this year. Theatres re-opened across the country in October this year after being shut down for more than 7 months due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Hrithik Roshan watched the film in a theatre and shared pictures of the same on social media. After watching the film, he lauded Gal Gadot’s performance and the experience of watching the film. Responding to his tweet, Gal Gadot expressed her happiness over the actor enjoying her film.

Wonder Woman 1984 is sequel to the 2017 film Wonder Woman. The opening scene of the film was released earlier this month and it showed a young Diana (Gal Gadot), competing in various games in Themyscira. The film is directed by Patty Jenkins and also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal.

The third instalment of the franchise was also announced recently.
