Fuel prices cut again in UAE, October petrol and diesel rates announced

Abu Dhabi : UAE has announced the revised prices of petrol and diesel for the month of October. The price of petrol has also been reduced this month. The revised rate will be effective from October 1.

  • Super 98 Petrol: AED 2.66 per liter (reduced from 2.90 in September)
  • Special 95 Petrol: Dhs 2.54 per liter (Previous Price 2.78)
  • E-Plus 91 Petrol: Dhs 2.47 per liter (reduced from 2.71 in September)
  • Diesel: AED 2.60 per liter (Previous Price AED 2.78)

The reduction in fuel prices in the revised rate comes after the fall in international crude oil prices in September. Brent crude oil prices averaged $73 a barrel on news of Saudi Arabia’s plans to increase production. Compared to the last month of August, the prices were slightly lower in September. The UAE deregulated fuel prices in 2015 and prices are updated every month in line with international market movements.
