The state government has made a list of cosy homestays amidst lush green, lofty hills and fresh air in locations such as Jim Corbett, Lansdowne, Mussoorie, Kausani, Dehradun, Nainital.
Workcation has lately become the trending concept of vacation. With people working from home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, this concept has become popular and gives great opportunity to take work on a holiday break.
Several homestays, hotels and resorts in Uttarakhand are offering delightful and economical workcation packages to the visitors. The package can be tailor-made as per the demand.
People will be offered high-speed internet connectivity, power back-up, a comfortable stay, medical and first-aid facilities, fresh food, room services and other facilities.
One can also include outdoor activities of pleasing weather and limitless access to the outdoors, engaging in fun activities such as trekking, biking, birdwatching, stargazing and other interesting and fun activities.
The concept is getting wide attention and several visitors are loving the new trend as office goers who are stuck in the mundane work-from-home cycle and desperately want to travel to experience a change in scenario.
