Flying man dies during training in Dubai

Jetman pilot Vincent Reffet was killed in a training accident in Dubai on November 17, a Jetman spokesperson said.

Reffet, 36, was a Frenchman who was part of the “Jetman” team which has done groundbreaking stunts above Dubai using jetpacks and carbon-fibre wings.

Jetmen have performed many dramatic flights over Dubai, soaring above the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and alongside an Emirates Airbus A380, the world’s largest commercial airliner.
