Abu Dhabi : Etihad Airways is set to enhance its daily Abu Dhabi–Kolkata service with the deployment of the state-of-the-art Airbus A321LR from September 26, 2025, offering a significant upgrade in comfort and in-flight experience across all travel classes on one of India’s busiest air corridors.
The next-generation aircraft will serve all flights between Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU), delivering a more premium travel experience on the medium-haul route.
The Airbus A321LR (Long Range) brings wide-body comfort to a single-aisle aircraft, tailored for regional routes experiencing rising demand for premium services.
The A321LR upgrade forms part of Etihad’s strategic expansion in the Indian market, catering to strong demand from both leisure and business travellers.
