Entire M’Town join hands for Suresh Gopi

The entire Malayalam film industry is joining hands for superstar Suresh Gopi. The title announcement of actor’s 250th film will be unveiled by actors including Mohanlal and Mammootty on their social media page at 6pm on Monday (October 26). This is probably the first time in Indian cinema so many artists came forward to announce the title of an upcoming movie.

This 250th film is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam. Fans are waiting for the announcement to know more details. A few weeks back, Suresh Gopi hinted that the name of his next film will be announced soon.

The actor has also released a collage in his FB page combining all Mollywood stars.

However Prithviraj didn’t appear in the poster which has stirred up another controversy. His fb post was bombarded with many comments which said there is an evident disparity between Suresh Gopi and Prithviraj regarding the film project based on Kaduvakkunnel Avarachan.

Following this Suresh Gopi finally gave clarity to the issue. He posted his response in the comment box of the SG 250 title announcement banner.

“I appeal to everyone not to make it a fan fight. Prithviraj Sukumaran is a favourite actor of Malayalees. Now what we have to do is not to obstruct the path of those, for whom cinema is a source of livelihood. Let both film projects continue. Both films have a different script. Expecting both will be great films and I am appealing everyone not to make it a fan war.

Suresh Gopi’s movie based on the story of Kaduvakkunnel Avarachan, directed by Mathew Thomas and scripted by Jinu Abraham, was recently banned by the court on the basis of a complaint alleging that the story of the film has similarities to the script of Shaji Kailas’ Kaduva with Prithviraj.
