Emergency landing: American Airlines plane catches fire at Denver Airport, passengers evacuate onto wing

A dramatic scene unfolded at Denver International Airport on Thursday evening (March 13) when an American Airlines plane carrying 178 people caught fire on the tarmac after making an emergency landing.

Footage shows flames and smoke coming from the aircraft as passengers were forced to evacuate onto the wing.

In a post on X, Alexandra Cullen stated her mother was on the American Flight 4012 that caught fire after a reported engine failure.
Emergency crews quickly responded to the incident, ensuring all passengers and crew safely exited the plane.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, while American Airlines has yet to release a full statement on the incident.
