Elon Musk to headline final day of World Governments Summit in Dubai today

Dubai: The 12th World Government Summit (WGS) 2025 is set to conclude today with a highly anticipated keynote address by tech visionary Elon Musk.

Musk, who has frequently used the WGS platform to share bold predictions on AI, space exploration, and the future of governance, is expected to provide fresh insights into the role of disruptive innovation in shaping global policy and talk about his new role in the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the US.

Omar Sultan AlOlama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Vice Chair of World Governments Summit will be in conversation with Musk, who usually appears virtually at WGS., in a plenary session titled ‘Boring Cities, AI, and DOGE.’

Beyond Musk’s address, today’s sessions will spotlight pressing global issues with the dynamic agenda featuring world leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers tackling critical global challenges.
