Eid Al Adha: ROP Issues Traffic Advisory for Manah–Nizwa Route

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a traffic advisory in connection with Eid Al Adha celebrations, alerting motorists to parking restrictions along a key route in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

According to a statement from the Department of Public Relations and Security Media, parking will be strictly prohibited on both sides of the road stretching from Al Shomoukh Fort in the Wilayat of Manah to Sultan Qaboos Mosque in the Wilayat of Nizwa.

The restriction will be enforced on the morning of Friday, June 6, 2025, in light of anticipated traffic for Eid prayers and public gatherings.

Authorities have urged all motorists to adhere to the directive and cooperate with on-site police personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow and safeguard public safety.

The ROP emphasized that compliance with this measure is essential to avoid congestion and ensure a peaceful and safe Eid Al Adha for all.
