Dubai Police praised two residents for their integrity after returning lost valuables

Naif Police Station honoured two residents for their honesty in handing over jewellery and money they had found within the station’s jurisdiction.

Expert Brigadier Omar Ashour, Acting Director of Naif Police Station, gave certificates of appreciation to Mohammad Azam and Saeed Ahmad, praising their integrity and responsible conduct, reflecting the noble values cherished in the UAE community.

He emphasised that this recognition aligns with Dubai Police’s commitment to fostering a culture of positive citizenship and community partnership, encouraging members of the public to take initiative in upholding safety and security.

“This gesture demonstrates the spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility we seek to promote. When community members act honestly, they help enhance public trust and contribute to the nation’s reputation,” Brigadier Ashour stated.

Both residents expressed their gratitude for the recognition, affirming that returning the items to Naif Police Station was simply their duty, with the hope that the valuables would be restored to their rightful owner.
