Development Bank signs strategic partnerships ahead of ADFIAP Conference in Oman

MUSCAT : These partnerships aim to enhance national cooperation and provide a high-quality experience for conference guests, further strengthening Oman’s position as a leading regional destination for hosting international events.

The distinguished event, hosted by the Development Bank, will be held from April 22 to 24 April at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Muscat.

The agreements were signed by Hussain Al Lawati, CEO of Development Bank, and representatives of local entities, including Eng. Bader Al Nadabi, CEO of Mwasalat, Nicolas Dubort, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Muscat, and others.

As part of the agreement, Mwasalat, the national transport company, will provide customised and innovative transportation innovative transportation service using their hydrogen-powered vehicles, to transport delegations and participants. This aligns with national sustainability goals and showcases Oman’s commitment to smart mobility.

The partnerships reflect Development Bank’s commitment to supporting the organisation of the ADFIAP conference, as well as empowering Omani companies and creating new opportunities for them to appear and grow within prestigious international and regional forums.

Aligned with the innovation, sustainability and human capital development pillars of Oman Vision 2040, the event brings together over 90 member institutions from 40 countries to delve into issues such as sustainable economic growth, enhancing financial inclusion and mobilizing resources for climate action and infrastructure projects.
