Dubai, UAE: Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and community, Design Infinity, a leading interior design and build company, planted over 100 trees at its joinery factory in Dubai Investment Park. The tree-planting initiative, held on Monday, November 11, brought together team members from various departments in a collaborative effort to enhance Dubai’s green spaces.
The event marks a significant step in Design Infinity’s ongoing dedication to environmental stewardship. By increasing the factory’s surrounding greenery, the initiative aims to create a more eco-friendly environment for employees and neighboring communities.
“We are excited to contribute to Dubai’s green vision and foster a sense of environmental responsibility within our organization,” said Pratap Mendonca, Managing Partner of Design Infinity.
“The tree-planting effort is not only a step toward sustainability but also a way to bring our team closer, nurturing a collective spirit as we work toward a greener future together,” added Geetha Nayak, Managing Partner of Design Infinity.
Habiba Al Marashi, Co-founder and Chairperson of Emirates Environmental Group (EEG), attended as Chief Guest. She commented, “This initiative reflects a commitment not only to corporate social responsibility but also to the UAE’s sustainability goals. By fostering green spaces and involving their team in such hands-on initiatives, Design Infinity sets an inspiring example for other businesses to contribute to our nation’s environmental future.”
The trees were carefully selected to thrive in Dubai’s climate, ensuring they flourish and contribute to the local ecosystem. Through this initiative, Design Infinity underscores its commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental awareness, demonstrating its resolve to build not only beautiful interiors but also a better, greener world.
