Delhi CM under house arrest, alleges AAP

The AAM Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday claimed that Delhi police has shut CM Arvind Kejiriwal under house arrest ever since he visited protesting farmers at Singhu border Delhi.

In a tweet, AAP has said, “BJP’s Delhi Police has put Hon’ble CM Shri @ArvindKejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu Border yesterday. No one has been permitted to leave or enter his residence.”

According to reports, AAP alleged that Arvind Kejriwal has been put under house arrest-like conditions. All meetings of Chief Minister Arvind Kejiriwal have been cancelled.

They further alleged that on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, police have placed the three mayors of the municipal corporation of Delhi on dharna outside the main gate of Chief Minister Arvind Kejiriwal’s residence. Taking this dharna as reason, police have barricaded Kejriwal’s residence.
