In a shocking development, Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone has cropped up in the narcotics investigation case in Bollywood. Deepika’s name has now emerged in a Whatsapp chat where the actress can be seen asking for hash from a person named ‘K’. The Whatsapp chat has been accessed by the Republic channel, and in the chat, an actor who goes by the name ‘D’ can be seen chatting to ‘K’.

A news report published on the Republic channel’s online edition reveals that ‘D’ is actually Deepika Padukone, and ‘K’ could be most probably her manager Karishma Prakash. According to the latest updates, Karishma Prakash has been now summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning.

In the chat, Deepika Padukone asks K to get some ‘maal’. She also insists that she needs hash and not weed. K responds that the stuff will be handed over at Koko, which investigation officers believe is a hotel in Mumbai.

It was after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput that NCB started probing the usage of drugs among Bollywood celebrities. Soon, they arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for having close ties with drug dealers.

Later, Kangana Ranaut claimed that several top stars in Bollywood are actually drug addicts. She also shockingly revealed that cocaine is the most favorite drug among Bollywood celebrities.
