COVID-19 cases in India crossed 30,000 mark in a single day for the first time. With the highest single-day spike of 32,965 cases and 606 deaths in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally on Thursday reached 9, 68,876 , according to the Union Health Ministry data. The death toll climbed to 24,915.
The number of recoveries stands at 6,12,814 while there are 3,31,146 active cases of coronavirus infection at present in the country.
Around 63.25 per cent of patients have recovered so far. Meanwhile as per the information provided by the Indian Council of Medical Research 1,27,39,490 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till July 15 .Out of these 3,26,826 samples were tested on July 15.
