Clergyman’s reaction in the wake of being savaged for commending Vinesh Phogat: ‘ When Union Minister Jayant Singh Chaudhary praised wrestler Vinesh Phogat for her impressive performance at the Paris Olympics 2024, he received sharp responses from a large portion of the internet. “She has more spine than you, sir.”
After defeating Yusneylys Guzman of Cuba 5-0 on Tuesday in the semi-final match, Phogat, 29, made history by becoming the first Indian woman to reach the Olympic final in women’s wrestling.
