Gary Jiang, Overseas General Manager at Higer, highlighted the significance of the launch: “The V-Series represents a new chapter for Higer in the UAE. It’s the result of three years of development using Integrated Product Development (IPD), with nearly $60 million invested in R&D and equipment.”
With exports to over 150 countries and regions and a cumulative export volume of more than 71,000 units, Higer has supported major global events such as the Doha Asian Games and FIFA World Cup. In the UAE alone, nearly 2,000 Higer buses are currently operating across sectors like school transport and tourism.
V-Series: Engineered for the UAE Environment
The V-Series is engineered specifically for demanding regional conditions:
A Strategic Milestone
According to Higer, the V-Series is its most comprehensive systems engineering project to date, incorporating modularity, platform-based design, and standardized technology. These advancements allow for improved reliability, faster model upgrades, and a more sustainable public transport offering.
“The V-Series delivers higher returns with lower operating costs,” said Gary Jiang. “This launch not only elevates Higer’s footprint in the UAE but also supports the country’s shift towards more efficient and environmentally responsible transportation solutions.”
