BEIJING: According to Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, trade between China and Arab nations has grown significantly from just $36.7 billion in 2004 to over $400 billion last year. This sustained growth highlights deepening economic ties and evolving strategic cooperation.
Ren emphasized that bilateral investments now extend across a wide range of sectors, including oil and gas, infrastructure, manufacturing, new energy, healthcare, and digital technology. In recent years, the collaboration has further advanced into cutting-edge fields such as big data, artificial intelligence, and space exploration.
