In a tweet posted on Tuesday, Taylor Swift tagged the streaming service and shared a black screenshot with the captioned line from the show.

In one of the scenes of Ginny & Georgia, Ginny Miller and her mother Georgia argued about relationships, BBC reports. Speaking about her relationship during one of their conversations, Ginny is asked whether she had broken up with her boyfriend and she retorts, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”

This particular dialogue infuriated Taylor Swift’s fans on Twitter as several users called for a boycott of the series as well.

Boseman, who died in August at the age of 43 following a four year-long private battle with colon cancer, won the award in the best performance by an actor in a motion picture category.

Boseman’s wife, Simone Ledward, accepted the award on his behalf in a Zoom call.

“He would thank God. He would thank his parents. He would thank his ancestors for their guidance and their sacrifices,” an emotional Ledward said.

It’s the first Golden Globe win for Boseman, who achieved global stardom as King T’Challa of fictitious African country Wakanda aka superhero Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Much before 2018’s “Black Panther”, the actor had made a name for himself by playing iconic black historical figures like baseball star Jackie Robinson in “42”, singer-songwriter James Brown in “Get on Up” and the first African-American Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall in “Marshall”.

According to Variety, the series, which is based on the 2005 hit New Regency film, is due in 2022.

Glover and Waller-Bridge will star in and executive produce the series.

Former NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Stalke made the announcement via social media, posting a video to Instagram Stories with details of the project. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke also posted the news of the new show to her Twitter account on Friday.

The new take on ‘Mr and Mrs. Smith’ is neither Glover nor Waller-Bridge’s first project with the studio. Waller-Bridge created and starred in the hit series ‘Fleabag,’ which collected six Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2019, while Glover’s musical film ‘Guava Island’ is also an Amazon Original.

The hit original ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ from Doug Liman starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and grossed almost USD 500 million worldwide.

Alfred Hitchcock also directed a screwball marriage comedy titled ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ in 1941, starring Robert Montgomery and Carole Lombard.

Plummer died Friday morning at his home in Connecticut with his wife, Elaine Taylor, by his side, said Lou Pitt, his longtime friend and manager.

Over more than 50 years in the industry, Plummer enjoyed varied roles ranging from the film The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo to the voice of the villain in 2009s Up and as a canny lawyer in Broadway’s Inherit the Wind.

But it was opposite Julie Andrews as von Trapp that made him a star. He played an Austrian captain who must flee the country with his folk-singing family to escape service in the Nazi navy, a role he lamented was “humourless and one-dimensional.” Plummer spent the rest of his life referring to the film as The Sound of Mucus or S&M.

“We tried so hard to put humour into it,” he told The Associated Press in 2007. “It was almost impossible. It was just agony to try to make that guy, not a cardboard figure.”

The role catapulted Plummer to stardom, but he never took to leading men parts, despite his silver hair, good looks and ever-so-slight English accent. He preferred character parts, considering them more meaty.

This prolific and versatile Canadian-born had immense and myriad natural gifts: a leading man’s face and figure; a slightly aloof mien that betrayed supreme confidence, if not outright self-regard; an understated athletic grace; a majestic speaking voice; and charming diction.

According to Fox News, the 68-year-old star’s movie ‘Honest Thief’ shot to the top of the box office in October amid a slew of theatre closures that prompted several movie studios to postpone their major blockbuster releases until at least 2021, and now, the action thriller ‘The Marksman,’ has also reached the top of the charts.

According to Variety, the film debuted at No. 1 with USD 3.2 million in ticket sales and is expected to close out the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend with USD 3.7 million across 1,975 locations. That means it’s a likely contender to finally unseat ‘Wonder Woman: 1984’ in its third week in theatres.

As reported by Fox News, the Gal Gadot-led superhero movie surprised everyone by performing well at the box office in December despite also releasing for free to HBO Max subscribers in a bid to cultivate viewership at a time when the coronavirus pandemic has made going to the theatre a difficult prospect for most Americans.

However, as Variety notes, alongside films like ‘Wonder Woman: 1984,’ ‘Honest Thief’ and Robert De Niro’s ‘The War With Grandpa,’ ‘The Marksman’ joins the club of lowest-grossing box office toppers in modern history thanks to only 65 percent of theatres in the U.S. being open for business.

Currently, ‘Wonder Woman: 1984’ is in a bit of a race for a second during the holiday weekend with ‘The Croods: A New Age’ edging close to its expected total of USD 2.6 million. Meanwhile, ‘News of the World’ with Tom Hanks is likely to finish fourth.

Based on Shrabani Basu’s “Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan”, the project hails from writer Olivia Hetreed and Red Room Films, reported Deadline.

Khan was born in Moscow in 1914 to Indian father Hazrat Inayat Khan and American mother Ora Ray Baker.

She was sent to Nazi-occupied France in 1943 as an undercover radio operator for Britain’s Special Operations Executive (SOE).

But Khan was betrayed, arrested and killed in Dachau Concentration Camp at the age of 30.

“She was a fierce and amazing woman, the most unlikely heroine of World War 2. Sending women to the front line is controversial even now. Then it was unthinkable.

Sending a Sufi mystic, who won’t use a gun, daughter of a long-haired Indian Guru who preaches love and peace “ridiculous! “But Noor thrives, not in spite of her differences, but because of them,” Pinto, who will also serve as an executive producer on the series, said.

The 36-year-old actor said that she aims to explore Khan’s inner struggle and complex sense of duty with her portrayal.

Pinto is known for movies such as “Slumdog Millionaire”, “Immortals” and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.

The series will be directed by Anand Tucker, who previously helmed films like “Hilary and Jackie”, “Shopgirl” and “Leap Year”.

The life story of Khan was most recently depicted in a film by filmmaker Sarah Megan Thomas.

Actor Radhika Apte portrayed Khan in the movie, which was recently released on Amazon Prime Video.

Based on the popular musical stage play version of Roald Dahl’s classic story, the film is a Netflix and Working Title project.

Thompson will play Miss Trunchbull, the cruel headmistress and antagonist of the piece, reported Entertainment Weekly.

The story follows the titular five-year-old girl, who uses her powers of telekinesis to overcome bullies, including her family and her school’s principal Miss Trunchbull, and protect her friends.

Child star Alisha Weir will essay the role of Matilda in the movie, which will also feature Captain Marvel actor Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey, the kindly teacher who encourages Matilda and her telekinetic gifts.

Matthew Warchus, who directed the original play, will return to helm the feature adaptation.

Tony winner Dennis Kelly is also coming back to pen the screenplay.

Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title will produce the project with Jon Finn, and Luke Kelly of The Roald Dahl Story Company and Netflix.

It’s not until you’re about to lose someone that you finally pay attention.”

The film follows a director’s relationship with his girlfriend was tested when they return home from a movie premiere and await responses from critics. According to the trailer, this is not a love story, this is a story of love.

Sam Levinson who directed the critically acclaimed series Euphoria helmed the project as writer and director.

Netflix acquired the film, which was shot on 35 mm with a small crew amid the COVID-19 pandemic, last September for $30 million following a bidding war between several distributors. The streamer plans to launch an Oscar campaign for the project.

The Gray Man is based on American novelist Mark Greaney’s debut novel of the same name, that released in 2009. It is based on a freelance assassin and former CIA operative who goes on a rescue mission across Europe. The Gray Man will be released on Netflix.

Statham, who has hits like “The Transporter” series, “The Meg” and “Hobbs & Shaw” to his credit, will next star in British filmmaker Guy Ritchie’s untitled thriller.

The highly-anticipated follow-up to the 2017 DC superhero blockbuster, “Wonder Woman 1984” will see Gadot reprise her role as the Amazonian warrior Diana Prince/ Wonder Woman and Jenkins return at the helm.

The sequel follows Wonder Woman facing two all-new foes: Max Lord, played by “Narcos” star Pedro Pascal, and The Cheetah, essayed by Kristen Wiig, known for “Bridesmaids”.

Jenkins said the upcoming film follows the “superhero” cast on an epic journey.

“This is a classic tale told through a great Super Hero with a true ‘superhero’ cast, and it’s an incredibly epic journey, but… What the story is and how it unfolds? I think less is more, the less I say, the more surprised the audiences will be,” the director said.

Denzil Dias, VP & MD, Warner Bros Pictures (India), said the studio is looking forward to releasing “Wonder Woman 1984” in Indian theatres on Christmas eve following the debut of Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” in India on Friday.

Jude Law says while shooting Contagion, scientific experts working with the production warned that a similar pandemic to that in the film was coming.

The ace actor revealed this while talking to GQ magazine. The actor discussed the 2011 thriller and what he was foretold would happen years before the novel coronavirus pandemics hit the world.

“There was absolutely the sense that this was going to happen,” Law said. “The great scientists on set with us who had worked with Scott [Z. Burns] the writer and [director] Steven [Soderbergh] were very learned and experienced individuals who knew what to expect. And they all said to us that this was going to happen — and it was a case of when rather than if.”

He said, “The way they described it, which is exactly as it has happened, just made sense. What’s scary is you learn in a set like that because you’re being advised by experts, but it doesn’t necessarily sit.”

Law played Alan Krumwiede in the star-studded pandemic thriller.

The actor explained that he was terrified after making the film, but after a while, his fear subsided. “When 2020 started, and we heard about what was initially happening in China, what fast became apparent around the world, it rang alarm bells,” he said. “Unfortunately, I wasn’t hugely surprised.”

‘Spencer’ is intended to showcase Diana’s final days leading up to her untimely demise. At the time, Diana (her original name was Diana Spencer) – one of the more outspoken modern royals – was grappling with the difficult decision of whether she should end her marriage to Prince Charles, who at the time admitted to having an affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles.

Diana divorced Charles in 1996 and he later married Parker-Bowles after Diana’s death. “My movie takes place over three days, and it’s this really poetic internal imagining of what that might have felt like rather than giving new information. Now Dial M for Murder is getting a refresh. Terrence Winter and Alicia Vikander are teaming with MGM/UA Television to develop an anthology drama based on Frederick Knott’s play and subsequent feature film of the same name.

Alicia Vikander is executive producing the project through her Vikarious Film banner and is also in talk to potentially star in the series, which tells the suspense thriller story from the female perspective.

Dial M for Murder would be Vikander’s debut as a series regular on U.S television. Her feature credits include Ex Machina, The Danish Girl, The Man from U.N.C.L.E and Tomb Raider 2.

This is not be the first time that Dial M for Murder has been attempted for television.

A report published in Deadline claims that director David Yates is keen to rope in Mikkelsen to play the role of Gellert Grindelwald.

It was last week that Johny Depp lost a case against a British tabloid which called him a wife beater. Following this, Warner Bros asked the Hollywood superstar to depart from the movie.

Even though Johnny Depp is no longer a part of this film, he will get the promised remuneration, as he had signed a pay or play contract with the production house. As Johnny Depp had worked for this movie for one day, he will get at least $10 million as remuneration.

According to Treverrow, the infectious crew members were tested negative shortly after, but they have decided to halt the shooting for 14 days, to adhere to safety protocols.

“Woke up to the news we had a few positive Coronavirus tests on Jurassic World: Dominion. All tested negative shortly after, but due to our safety protocols, we’re going to pause for two weeks. Back soon,” wrote Treverrow on his Twitter page.

A Universal Pictures spokesman revealed that the prime concern of the company is the safety of the crew members, and made it clear that people who initially tested positive are now self-isolated. The production company also added that the release of Jurassic World: Dominion has been postponed to 2022.

Jurassic World: Dominion is one of those movies that resumed shooting amid the coronavirus pandemic. The shooting of the film starring Chris Pratt in the lead role was carried out following all necessary safety protocols.

The makers of Jurassic Park III were completely wrong in portraying the lead antagonist in their movie, as a new study has suggested that Spinosaurus, the scary monster in the hit franchise, was actually a water monster. Researchers at the University of Portsmouth made this conclusion after discovering thousands of teeth from a Moroccan riverbed.

Until now, experts believed that dinosaurs were land-dwelling creatures, but this new study report claims that Spinosaurus aegyptiacus had lived in rivers.

“The huge number of teeth we collected in the prehistoric river bed reveals that Spinosaurus was there in huge numbers, accounting for 45 per cent of the total dental remains. We know of no other location where such a mass of dinosaur teeth have been found in bone-bearing rock. The enhanced abundance of Spinosaurus teeth, relative to other dinosaurs, is a reflection of their aquatic lifestyle. An animal living much of its life in water is much more likely to contribute teeth to the river deposit than those dinosaurs that perhaps only visited the river for drinking and feeding along its banks,” said David Martell, a professor of paleontology at the University of Portsmouth.

Martell revealed that spinosaurus actually lived and died in the rivers. He also made it clear that the number of teeth discovered in the riverbed was a strong indication that Spinosaurus was truly water-dwelling river monster.

Earlier, another study conducted by Nizar Ibrahim, a National Geographic explorer, had suggested that Spinosaurus had a long tail which helped it to perform advanced aquatic movements. Ibrahim also revealed that these giants had hunted their preys underwater just like crocodiles.

Now, in one of her recent videos uploaded on the YouTube, Larson has claimed to have rejected the offer to act in Captain Marvel not once but twice. According to Larson, she had rejected the offer because of her anxiety to pull off such a challenging role on screen.

“Oh, I can’t do that. I have too much anxiety. That’s too much for me. I don’t think I could handle that. I’m too much of an introvert. That’s way too big of a thing for me,” said Larson on the video.

Larson revealed that the film’s production team later convinced her to do the role. The actress also added that she was convinced to see lots of females in the crew that includes Anna Boden and Geneva Robertson-Dworet.

In the video, Larson also talked about the movies for which she attended the audition, but failed to fetch roles. The actress revealed that she had attended the audition for Marvel’s Iron Man 2 and Thor, but she did not get roles in these films made in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Some of the other movies for which Larson attended auditions were Avatar, Sucker Punch, Gulliver’s Travels, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, The Book of Eli, Get Him to the Greek, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Juno and Pitch Perfect. However, the Academy Award-winning actress did not succeed in impressing the makers of this movie.
