Boycott Kapil Sharma Show trends on Twitter for mocking Arnab Goswami

Kapil Sharma Show is one among the popular television shows that resumed broadcast amid the coronavirus pandemic. Even though no big names in Bollywood have attended the show so far, the program organizers managed to entertain the audiences by bringing veteran actors and BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat’ cast.

Recently, Anubhav Sinha and actor Manoj Bajpayee attended the chat show to promote their music video, ‘Bambai Main Ka Ba’. During the show, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek participated in a parody sketch that made a section of social media users disappointed.

In the parody sketch, Kiku and Krushna mocked Republic TV journalist Arnab Gosawmi, and it is now receiving negative responses from all corners. In the video, the duo added parts where Arnab Goswami was seen calling up Salman Khan and asking about the drug nexus.

The skit soon went viral, and it literally irked fans of Arnab Goswami. Soon, many people, on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook urged netizens to ban the show, as they claimed that it has a clear political agenda. It should be noted that Arnab’s Republic channel has been trying their best to uncover the mysteries surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, and it has apparently irked several Bollywood biggies.

“They are promoting the show on the controversy. Arnab haters will watch & TRP will come. Clear political agenda to revive their film industry. The cheapest trick to mock death,” wrote Gaurav Mishra, a Twitter user.

“Making fun of #Arnab in the current scenario is utter foolishness. We all know @itsSSR was murdered & no news channel is supporting the fight except Republic & brought the dirt of Bollywood out. Making fun of him means making fun of SSR supporters,” wrote Ruby Mehra, another Twitter user.
