BJP leader claims some Bollywood celebrities have connection with ISI and Pakistan army

BJP Vice president Baijayant Jay Panda on Wednesday has made some shocking allegations on Twitter that some celebrities in Bollywood have links to Pakistan and ISI. Though Mr. Jay Panda has not taken any names, but he urged all the ‘patriotic Bollywoodies’ to reject these celebs.

“Came across shocking threads documenting personal & business links of some Bollywood personalities with certain Pakistanis & NRIs with undeniable track record encouraging violence in J&K, who have verifiable links to ISI & Pak army. I urge patriotic Bollywoodies to renounce them,” Panda tweeted.

One of the Twitterati while commenting on his tweet demanded an inquiry into the matter. “Let there be a detailed investigation by our premier agencies and let the dirt be washed once for all. The leeway given to film world was taken for granted & the alleged seedy links needs to be thoroughly probed”, he wrote. While another user said, “Why legal action is not taken and left for boycott?”

Panda’s revelation comes in the wake of a great stir in Bollywood after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The problem of ‘nepotism’ has been reignited, with several Bollywood celebrities being accused of favouring industry ‘star kids’.

Kangana Ranaut recently in tell-all interview to Republic TV, accused several film fraternity members of engaging in lobbyism and called Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker and Richa Chadha “needy outsiders.”
