NIRMAL YESODA

Anushka Shetty is one of the most bankable actresses in the South Indian film industry, and she has that star power to shoulder movies alone. The actress is now awaiting the release of her new movie Nishabdham, and according to reports, this thriller film will be released in Amazon Prime on October 02, 2020. R Madhavan is also playing a crucial role in this movie, and it marks Anushka’s onscreen reunion with Madhavan after Rendu.

Earlier, the makers of this movie had planned to release Nishabdham in April. However, as theaters remained closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, they decided to indefinitely postpone its release. As coronavirus cases in India are witnessing a drastic surge every day, makers have decided to release the movie via an OTT platform.

“We are excited to bring to the audience the eagerly awaited thriller Nishabdham in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video,” said Hemanth Madhukar, director of Nishabdham.

Anushka Shetty revealed that her character in this movie was very challenging, and it made her come out of the comfort zone. She also shared her excitement of working with Madhavan after many years. As per close sources to the movie, Anushka is playing the role of a mute and deaf girl who gets entangled in a criminal investigation in this film.

Madhavan revealed that Nishabdham will be an intriguing thriller that will cater to audiences of all genres irrespective of the language barrier.

“I enjoy watching and being a part of thriller films. Nishabdham is definitely one of the most intriguing movies that I have been associated with. Set in the US and shot extensively in Seattle and other parts of the US, the story is relatable to global audiences,” said Madhavan.

Apart from Anushka Shetty and Madhavan, Nishabdham also stars Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju and Hollywood actor Michael Madson in other prominent roles.
